Bio
I am an Indigenous Canadian and British writer currently living in Toronto.
My fiction has appeared in The Walrus and other publications and my debut novel, HOG, is slated for release in 2027.
I hold a PhD in English from the University of Manchester and a MA in Creative Writing from the University of Toronto.
My Métis roots are from Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan and before that Red River, Manitoba.
When not writing, I work in the University of Toronto’s central administration and co-host a popular Sea Shanty singalong night.
